Greetings in the Matchless Name of Jesus:
When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and all that He’s done for me. My soul cries out Hallelujah, I thank God for saving me.
Truly the Lord has been gracious to us and we are glad. Jesus paid the price for us on Calvary and for that we owe Him our eternal praise and worship.
Is there a difference in praise and worship?
Praise is when we express honor and gratitude to God. We are thankful for what He has done, the ways He’s made, the doors that He’s opened and even the doors that He shut. The Lord is just that good. He will close the door that is not in our best interest. The Lord does all things well.
Worship is when we reverence, adore and obey God because of who He is. Simply because of who He is. He is the creator of everything that exists. He is the keeper of all things. The Lord is our healer. Without the Lord we would not be able to survive. When we obey the Lord’s commands and love one another, this is worship. As we breathe, we worship. Worship is a living thing, it grows-as we grow. It is strengthened-as we are strengthened. It is genuine-as we are transparent before the Lord. Our purest worship is while we’re in a storm. We know where our help comes from and who we can lean on. After the deliverance comes we willingly worship the Lord with our whole heart and with a sense of freedom.
Let’s seek the Lord daily and obey his Word. Without Him we would fail. Remember when you went through the toughest time in your life? How did you make it? How could you go on? Why didn’t you loose your mind? Because having the Lord in your life made the difference. He is the difference.
Let us worship the Lord…simply because of who He is.
My love for you is great. May the Lord continue to bless you and may His peace be with you.
Serving the Lord with gladness,
